BTCPay Server has updated its optional WooCommerce and WordPress deployment after critical PHP vulnerabilities were disclosed, urging merchants using the setup to install the update immediately.

The update is available through BTCPay’s Docker installer. Users running WooCommerce through BTCPay can apply it by clicking “Update” inside the server.

The update covers BTCPay’s optional WooCommerce and WordPress deployment. It does not describe a broader update to every BTCPay installation. The immediate step applies to users who run WooCommerce through BTCPay.

The update follows the disclosure of critical vulnerabilities in PHP, the programming language associated with the affected deployment.
