Comet Cloud is targeting small and midsize businesses with GPU clusters reserved for a single customer, positioning dedicated computing capacity as its core offering for AI workloads.

The single-tenant setup reserves GPU hardware for one customer instead of sharing it among customers. Its listed applications include model training, inference and healthcare.

Comet Cloud offers managed Kubernetes and Slurm, as well as bare-metal infrastructure. Pricing is fixed monthly, but rates are not listed.

Thomas Kato, Comet Cloud’s founder and CEO, said the company has 300 acres under contract on the West Coast. He also said financing a 48-rack cluster of NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems could require $1 billion to $1.2 billion in contracted revenue.
