One address accounts for about 77% of the opposition to PancakeSwap’s open governance vote on changes to liquidity fees and token issuance.

At 11:01 a.m. ET (1501 UTC) on Oct. 22, 18 votes were listed, with 993,662.88 voting weight against (97.81%) and 22,201.52 in favor (2.19%). One address cast 765,559.415 votes against, about 77.04% of the opposing total. The tally is a snapshot, not a final result.

The vote concerns PancakeSwap’s proposal to raise liquidity providers’ fee share to 88% on v3 and Infinity pools. It would also reduce daily issuance of the PancakeSwap token (CAKE) in stages, from 22,500 to 7,000. The proposal leaves v2 liquidity providers’ share at 68%.

Voting is scheduled to close Oct. 24.
