CyberCX Executive Warns AI May Cut Response Time From Several Weeks to Several Hours

Artificial intelligence is lowering the cost of finding and exploiting software vulnerabilities, CyberCX executive director responsible for security AI Dimitri Vedeneev said, raising pressure on organizations to keep pace.

Vedeneev pointed to the exposure of a PHP vulnerability as an example of AI quickly revealing weaknesses in widely used technology. He urged organizations to prepare to reduce response times “from several weeks to several hours.”
