Supermicro introduced a rack-scale system with 256 NVIDIA Vera CPUs, using a fully liquid-cooled design to support large-scale agentic AI applications alongside NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform.

The rack is designed to support large-scale agentic AI applications alongside NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform. The company previously outlined an eight-rack liquid-cooled Vera Rubin system with 576 Vera CPUs across 288 nodes.

AMD’s Helion rack design also targets agentic AI workloads. It offers CPU-only systems for hyperscalers and mixed CPU-GPU configurations for enterprises.
