Deriv announced Oct. 21 that it had released Deriv One, its internally developed, self-hosted artificial intelligence platform, under the MIT license. The platform is available as open-source software.

Deriv One combines a skills catalog with Slack agents, an editor-style workspace arranged in multiple panes and a no-code app builder. It had 221 skills contributed by 54 people across the company.

Access to skills is tied to job functions, permissions for agents are reviewed, and code execution is sandboxed, meaning it runs in an isolated environment.
