OpenAI’s Codex usage allowance was scheduled to reset before 1 p.m. ET Thursday (17:00 UTC), with the update marking it as Day 17.

Codex lead Tibo urged users to request Daybreak Blue access in case a security incident occurs. The application takes about 15 minutes.

Daybreak is OpenAI’s Trusted Access for Cyber program, and Blue is one of its access tiers.
