CoinDCX said customer funds remain safe after about 15.99 million Tether (USDT) and 5,783.81 TRON (TRX) moved from its hot wallet and deposit addresses to a TRON address on Oct. 21.

The exchange said the activity involved wallet addresses created in January 2025. It said the addresses were no longer in use after being compromised in July 2025 and that activity involving them was unrelated to its current operations. CoinDCX described claims circulating on X about the wallets and transfers as misleading and said its trading and investment businesses continued normally.

The largest transfer was 15,819,002 USDT. The funds were then split across multiple transfers to deposit addresses at Binance, OKX and Gate.
