Salus CMO Questions CoinDCX Over $16 Million in Reserve Wallet Transfers

CoinDCX has described the addresses as old wallets disabled after a July 2025 breach. Darcy also pointed to repeated transfers of 15 TRX for network fees.

Salus CMO Darcy challenged CoinDCX’s explanation of recent wallet activity, saying two addresses listed in its latest proof of reserves sent about $16 million in Tether (USDT), plus TRON (TRX), to an address suspected of links to a hacker.

Darcy also highlighted a hot wallet that continued to distribute 15 TRX for on-chain fees around the time of the attack CoinDCX described. Darcy further claimed some related funds reached Binance, OKX and Gate, along with addresses associated with Huione and Xinbi.

CoinDCX, an Indian crypto exchange, previously said the addresses were old wallets created in January 2025, compromised in July 2025 and then disabled. The company said the wallets were separate from current operations, customer funds were safe, and its trading and investment services were operating normally.

Darcy alleged that if CoinDCX was not hacked, the activity suggested the exchange had taken users’ assets.
