Uniswap Activates Seven Outside Liquidity Sources for Swap Routing

Aggregator Hooks went live in the web app and API on Ethereum mainnet, Base and Robinhood Chain. The sources represented more than 90% of decentralized-exchange activity on those networks at launch.

Uniswap Labs activated Aggregator Hooks in its web app and API on Ethereum mainnet, Base and Robinhood Chain, expanding the outside liquidity sources its swap-routing system can use.

Seven external sources were available at launch, representing more than 90% of decentralized-exchange activity on those networks. Aggregator Hooks connects those sources to Uniswap’s v4 routing system.

The router gathers fresh quotes each block and builds routes across connected sources. That lets a swap use liquidity from sources outside Uniswap’s own system as part of its route.

Swaps routed through external sources generate protocol fees that contribute to Uniswap (UNI) token burns.
