NVIDIA announced Friday that Kazakhtelecom has deployed 880 GPUs in Astana and Almaty and plans two larger projects in 2027 to expand computing capacity for businesses, developers and institutions.

The deployed total consists of 400 H200 GPUs and 480 B300 GPUs. Kazakhtelecom plans to add more than 1,000 GPUs at Data Center Valley and more than 1,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs in the Ekibastuz region. If completed, the two projects would add more than 2,000 GPUs to the deployments already announced.

inDrive and Pony.ai are assessing whether Pony.ai’s seventh-generation robotaxis could be offered through the inDrive app, with Astana identified as the first city under consideration.

The proposed service would use NVIDIA infrastructure based on the NVIDIA Hyperion sensor and compute platform and the NVIDIA Halos safety system. The companies are evaluating feasibility; the announcement describes a potential service, not a confirmed launch.
