Swell has paused deposits and withdrawals for swETH and rswETH while it corrects the tokens’ net asset value, preventing users from requesting withdrawals or claiming ETH.

The halt reaches deposits and withdrawals for each token. For withdrawals, it blocks both submitting a request and claiming ETH, leaving users unable to complete those steps through Swell while the controls remain active.

Swell has made the NAV correction a prerequisite for lifting the pause. The protocol must correct net asset value before it reopens the affected functions, so deposits and withdrawals remain suspended during that work. The pause covers the actions named in the announcement: deposits, withdrawal requests and ETH claims for swETH and rswETH.

The current restriction is at the protocol level: onchain controls are blocking requests and claims. That leaves deposits unavailable and prevents users from progressing through the withdrawal process until Swell reopens the functions after the correction is complete.
