China Targets National Blockchain Network to Be Largely Built by 2030
The plan also seeks a network system spanning land, sea, air and space, completed next-generation communications networks and a timely start to commercial 6G service.

China plans to have its national blockchain network substantially built by 2030, placing the project within a broader government push to expand digital infrastructure and technology use across the economy.
The Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission issued the National Informatization Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Its 2030 goals include a network system spanning land, sea, air and space, completed next-generation communications networks and a timely start to commercial 6G service.
The plan also calls for faster development of an intelligent internet, stronger cybersecurity safeguards and deeper integration of digital technology with the real economy. The blockchain network is one part of its national information infrastructure agenda.
The target follows an earlier policy effort to develop a national blockchain network.
