Adam Back Says a Post-Quantum Proposal Has Been Developed
He said people can upgrade in a way that is observable on the network and that tools are available.

Blockstream CEO Adam Back said a post-quantum proposal has been developed and that users can upgrade in a way that is observable on the network, in remarks during a national television appearance framed around quantum concerns involving Bitcoin (BTC).
“There are already solutions,” Back said. “We have developed a post-quantum proposal.” He added that “people can upgrade in a way that is observable on the network” and “the tools are available.”
On Oct. 17, he urged the National Security Agency (NSA) to make its curve-generation process reproducible. The issue concerned five elliptic curves standardized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
