Tether Gets 15 Commitments for Bitcoin (BTC) Mining Toolkit Integrations
The integrations will connect participants’ hardware, pools or systems through MDK Workers, while Tether’s QVAC mining agent already uses the toolkit.

Tether has secured commitments from 15 Bitcoin (BTC) mining companies, ASIC manufacturers and mining pools to build integrations for its open-source toolkit, aiming to connect varied mining systems.
The Mining Development Kit (MDK) uses software components called MDK Workers to link participants’ hardware, pools or other systems to a shared interface. The participants will build and maintain those integrations.
Participating companies can keep their current technology and choose which functions they make available through the toolkit. Developers can build applications on MDK that work across different mining environments.
Tether’s QVAC mining agent is already connected to mining infrastructure through MDK. Tether had said MDK would reach version 0.11 at the Oct. 23-24 Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano. The company plans a first stable release, version 1.0, by the end of 2026.
