In an interview published Oct. 26, Blockstream Chief Marketing Officer Peter Bain called Bitcoin’s hold near $81,000 amid an equity selloff and unrest in Europe “a really, really strong signal” for the market.

The interview also covered Bain’s outlook for Bitcoin through 2027.

In earlier comments, Bain tied his bull-run view to feedback from institutional clients and customers.

Bain argued that development should come before a focus on price, pointing to adoption around stablecoins and tokenized equities. He described quantum risks as decades away and discussed signature schemes and consensus for a potential Bitcoin upgrade.
