The Ritual Foundation launched the Ritual mainnet and unlocked 1.8 billion RITUAL tokens at launch, equal to 18% of the token’s 10 billion initial supply. A 50 million token community airdrop accounts for 0.5% of the initial supply.

Ritual is a decentralized AI computing platform. Its native token, RITUAL, pays fees for gas, model calls, HTTP requests and scheduled executions.

The token has no supply cap, with annual issuance of about 5% initially distributed as staking rewards. Transaction base fees are burned under an EIP-1559 mechanism.

The airdrop was fully unlocked at launch and targeted eligible Infernet node operators, Frenrug users and long-term community members. Core contributor and Labs investor tokens have a one-year lockup beginning at mainnet launch, and locked tokens cannot be staked. The full token supply is scheduled to unlock within four years of launch.

Ritual allocated 29% of the initial supply to core contributors, 25% to ecosystem growth and research and development, and 14% to network participation and future incentives. The remaining allocations include Labs investors, the Ritual Foundation, the Labs treasury, frontier AI grants and a foundation private sale.
