Equilibria Finance is seeking a written commitment from Camelot and Frontier teams to cover losses from a Sept. 12 exploit of Camelot’s rewards infrastructure, which the project says cost about $131,000.

The incident involved 445,418 EQB and 2,121 xGRAIL, valued at about $131,000 at the time, Equilibria said. After more than a month of talks, Equilibria said Frontier was unwilling to assume losses tied to the original agreement.

Former Camelot team members proposed using personal funds to cover about $6,500 in losses for regular users, less than 5% of the total, the project said. Equilibria said assets held in its treasury accounted for more than 95% of the loss. Its exit plan called for those assets to be distributed to EQB holders, it said.

The project is asking Camelot and Frontier teams to commit in writing to full compensation.
