Whitearmor Claims $15 Million Bitcoin Ransom Tied to Gamdom Accounts

Whitearmor’s account-count and 146-field claims remain unverified. The supplied evidence does not establish a link to Gamdom’s earlier wallet breach.

Whitearmor claimed Oct. 26 that it was demanding $15 million in Bitcoin (BTC) from Gamdom and possessed records tied to 15,420,003 accounts. The claim described 146 fields per account.

On Oct. 14, Gamdom disclosed an unauthorized connection involving an automation server and said it shut down its systems. The company said, “User funds are safe.”

Gamdom founder Felix Römer put the loss from the earlier hot-wallet breach at just over $3 million and said remaining funds had been moved to cold wallets. An earlier preliminary tally put the losses above $4.2 million, higher than Römer’s figure; the difference remains unexplained.

The available evidence does not establish a connection between the alleged account-data theft and the wallet breach. No ransom payment has been confirmed.
