Dell Adds AI Recovery Planning to Its Cybersecurity Portfolio
The Resilience Operations for AI service is available now, alongside PowerProtect identity recovery capabilities for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.

Dell Technologies is adding recovery planning for AI systems and identity platforms to its cybersecurity portfolio, giving customers new tools to restore critical capabilities after disruptions.
Dell announced its Resilience Operations for AI service at 8 a.m. ET (12:00 UTC) Tuesday, Oct. 27. The service is available now, guiding customers through a review of essential AI functions and the recovery steps needed to restore them.
In an interview for the AI Cybersecurity & Resilience Summit, Simon Jelley, Dell’s vice president of Cyber Resilience, said resilience needs to be built into system architecture and business processes. “Resiliency is just built into the architecture and the business process you’re delivering overall,” Jelley said.
Dell also made new PowerProtect identity resilience capabilities available. They support recovery of identity platforms including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta to a clean, trusted state.
The company expanded PowerProtect AI Assistant features for managing assets, restores and reporting. Human approval is required for actions. The cyber recovery vault is physically isolated and separately governed, with distinct credentials. CyberSense checks vaulted data for signs of corruption.
