Avail launched ShieldTX for Hyperliquid, assigning each perpetual position a separate wallet to make it harder for onchain bots to connect a trader’s activity and copy the strategy. The tool is designed to reduce the visibility that enables this form of trading.

A prelaunch analysis reviewed 332,317 Hyperliquid trading wallets. It then sampled seven traders from the platform’s 100 highest-ranked, along with wallets suspected of copying them. The analysis estimated that copy trading increased affected traders’ costs by a median 63 basis points, or 0.63%, per trade through execution-price impacts.

About 29% of Hyperliquid’s top 150 accounts used subaccounts. Wallets associated with those subaccounts may still be linked onchain.
