Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said the protocol’s Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) program has hosted seven token auctions over four months, with more auctions coming. The format combines token distribution with liquidity on Uniswap v4.

CCA releases tokens one blockchain block at a time. Bidders set the highest price they are willing to pay, and filled bids within each block pay one shared clearing price. Bids that do not clear are returned.

When an auction ends, it seeds a liquidity pool on Uniswap v4 so the token can begin trading immediately.
