Harvey launched an Intake artifact for Claude for Legal on Oct. 28, giving employees a way to submit legal questions from Claude for handling through Harvey.

Routine requests can draw on legal guidance, playbooks and previous work stored in Harvey. Legal teams can set assignment rules, monitor progress and review submissions there. Requests that require legal judgment are routed to a lawyer, with the response returned to the employee in Claude.

Intake records submissions, and employees can check their status and follow up in Claude. Legal teams can also access information already stored in Harvey from other Claude artifacts without manual uploads.

Harvey’s Connector Library already supports legal requests through Slack and Jira, with responses returned to the original threads. Claude for Legal also has a Legal Artifacts Library with tools for citation checks, contract reviews and regulatory tracking.
