Wagyu confirmed a data leak exposing records that tie 4,580 swap orders to public-chain deposits, Monero destinations and client IP addresses, creating a way to connect transaction activity across networks.

The records connect three details for the swaps: a deposit transaction recorded on a public blockchain, the Monero destination for the exchange and the IP address associated with the client.

Taken together, the details bridge the public-chain leg of a swap with its Monero destination and the network address used by the client. A deposit can be viewed as a public-chain transaction; the leaked records then associate it with where the swapped funds went and the client’s IP address.

That connection is the central privacy risk: looking at the deposit, destination or IP address separately would show only one part of the order, while the combined record links them. The leak therefore exposed transaction paths across the public-chain and Monero sides of thousands of orders.
