Anthropic has brought Claude’s voice mode to Apple CarPlay in a mobile app update that also adds account switching, improves support for larger screens and expands language options.

Drivers can use Claude’s voice mode hands-free through CarPlay. The update also makes the feature respond faster and handle background noise better. Anthropic says it is aiming to make non-English conversations feel more natural.

The apps can now keep multiple Claude accounts signed in at once. Users can move between accounts without ending a session, a change for people who use more than one account.

On iPad, the app can place content beside an active conversation. Users can expand that content to fill the screen when they need more room.

The Android app improves support for Chromebooks, foldables and Google Pixel devices. On those larger-screen devices, users get resizable sidebars, trackpad functions, keyboard shortcuts and right-click options.

Claude’s language support now totals 33 languages after 24 additions. Bengali and Turkish are among the new options.

Anthropic also plans to add a search gesture to Claude on iPhone and iPad. It is designed to help users find chats, projects and settings. The feature is planned, rather than part of the update already described.
