Binance is working to restore cryptocurrency withdrawals for some users after a technical problem disrupted the service, while the exchange says customer funds are safe and it investigates a potential security issue.

Binance said its technical team is addressing the withdrawal problem and working to return service to normal. The exchange plans to provide another update after withdrawals are fully restored, but it has not given a restoration time.

Binance described the disruption as affecting some users and as technical. Separately, it said a potential security concern remains under investigation; it has not said that review is complete.

The exchange had previously assured users that their funds were safe and repeated that assurance in its latest update. Binance’s statements distinguish the withdrawal repair from asset safety: its team is restoring the service while it says user funds remain secure.

Binance’s next stated step is to update users after full restoration. It has not provided a timetable for the repair.
