Mask Network said three data leaks over one week involved a supplier, a bank and an engineer’s laptop, and that none involved a blockchain being breached.

The network said large amounts of personal information are kept in places that are easy targets. It urged organizations to consider why they collect so much data before focusing on how to protect it.

Mask Network said data that is never stockpiled may be the safest data.
