1inch blocked addresses tied to an attack on Binance across its decentralized app, wallet and API, but stolen 1INCH tokens cannot be frozen because the token lacks freeze and blacklist controls.

The 1inch risk management team worked with ZeroShadow, SEAL 911 and TRM Labs to add the addresses to its blocklist within one hour of learning of the incident. The team is continuing to add addresses as they are identified.

1inch is in contact with Binance to provide assistance and said it will cooperate with the exchange and law enforcement to pursue the stolen funds.

The list was shared with resolvers and integration partners. The tokens themselves cannot be frozen. 1inch said 1INCH is a standard ERC-20 token without a freeze or blacklist function, leaving no mechanism for any party to freeze the stolen units.
