Wallets linked to the Binance hack transferred 17,260 Ether (ETH), worth about $38.82 million, to a new wallet on Friday, Oct. 30. The funds were intended for laundering through mixers such as Tornado Cash. After the transfer, roughly 480,720 ETH, valued at about $1.08 billion, remained in wallets linked to the attack and could not be frozen.

The remaining token balance is about 28 times the size of the latest transfer. Measured against the ETH still held after the move, the 17,260 ETH transaction represents about 3.6% of the remaining amount. Both dollar valuations are approximate, so the comparison describes scale rather than an exact accounting of the funds.

The latest movement was another transfer of crypto tied to the Binance hack. The amount described as remaining is substantially larger than the sum moved, leaving most of the hack-linked ETH in place after the transaction. Together, the figures show that 17,260 ETH moved while roughly 480,720 ETH remained beyond freezing.
