Trezor Urges CryptoBilis Buyers to Move Funds After Wallet Warning
A reported Trezor Safe 5 bought in Indonesia had added cellular hardware. Trezor says it has received no reports of stolen user funds.

Trezor urged customers who bought wallets through CryptoBilis since March 2026 to move their assets into wallets created with fresh seed phrases after a Safe 5 device was reported with suspected hardware tampering.
The reported device was bought on Tokopedia, an Indonesian e-commerce platform, in August 2026. It included an added circuit board, cellular communications module and antenna that could read information on the device screen and transmit it over a mobile network, Trezor said.
Trezor's security team considers the report credible based on the buyer's description and video interview, but the company has not received the device for laboratory testing. Trezor said it had received no reports of user funds being stolen.
The warning applies to hardware wallets purchased through CryptoBilis from March 2026 onward. Trezor recommends moving assets to a wallet created with an entirely new seed phrase. Trezor identifies CryptoBilis as an authorized reseller in Southeast Asia.
