Initia Targets Nov. 2 Restart for Layer 1 Network and Rollups
Support for AUSD0, USDC.n and WETH is expected before the restart. The plan also calls for a temporary DEX pause to rebalance pools.

Initia plans to resume operations on its Layer 1 network and rollups Monday, Nov. 2, after a security incident, with a software patch and liquidity changes planned before the restart.
An earlier recovery update described repair work but did not set a restart date.
The upgrade will deploy a MoveVM patch that has passed an independent audit. Initia also plans to isolate the attacker’s remaining fabricated balances and add safeguards while preserving the existing transaction record.
Support for AUSD0, USDC.n and WETH is scheduled to return before operations resume, with no user action required. Initia’s decentralized exchange (DEX) will briefly pause while designated accounts rebalance liquidity pools to market prices. Any profits from the rebalancing will go to liquidity providers affected by the incident.
Transfers through cross-chain bridges and exchanges are expected to resume after network monitoring. A 24-hour withdrawal period will apply to LayerZero OFT WETH and AUSD0. Initia plans to provide further instructions after the network is fully online Monday.
