USDT0 froze 6.18 million USDT0 on Polygon after the Binance hack and briefly suspended transfers between Tron and Ethereum while monitoring activity across networks.

USDT0 paused the Tron-Ethereum bridge soon after the Binance incident was confirmed and worked with KYT and compliance partners to monitor all networks. About 20 minutes later, the team found another theft on Polygon. Multiple signers froze the tokens before the attacker could convert them into assets that could not be frozen.

USDT0 restored transfers between Tron and Ethereum after Tether froze more than $1.3 billion in stolen USDT. Monitoring remained at a high alert level, and cross-chain transfers could face temporary delays.

The response involved two separate network actions: a temporary pause on the Tron-Ethereum route and a freeze of USDT0 on Polygon.
