Binance Updates Investigation Into Unauthorized Withdrawals
The exchange found no evidence of a wallet private-key leak. Wallets linked to the attacker completed swaps worth $158.25 million for Ether (ETH).

Binance said its preliminary investigation found a compromised DevOps engineer's laptop may have enabled access to a service container used to make unauthorized withdrawals from the exchange.
The exchange said it found no evidence that wallet private keys were exposed. Its Oct. 30 update said a detailed technical post-mortem would follow after the investigation.
Wallets linked to the attacker completed swaps of seven tokens for 70,480 Ether (ETH), valued at $158.25 million. The swaps covered 7.02 million Uniswap (UNI), 217.5 million Ethena (ENA), 7.77 trillion Pepe (PEPE), 2.57 million Chainlink (LINK), 127,953 Aave (AAVE), 21.85 million Ondo (ONDO) and 17.32 million Worldcoin (WLD).
Wallets on nine non-Ethereum chains sent funds through ordinary signed transfers.
Binance's investigation is ongoing, and the exchange said it would publish a detailed technical post-mortem afterward.
