Keystone has paused all hardware-wallet shipments and isolated affected devices at every warehouse it uses, including Amazon warehouses, as it expands its response to a compromised authentication key.

Keystone emailed affected users from support@keyst.one. Incident-related emails will come only from that address. Keystone will never request recovery phrases by email, direct message or phone.

Keystone has shortened the period it keeps logistics data from 180 days to 90 days. Users whose orders have arrived can contact customer support to request immediate deletion. Keystone plans to announce additional steps in the coming days.

The broader shipping halt follows Keystone’s plan to destroy 18,835 wallets with the compromised key. The key could let counterfeit devices pass authenticity checks. Keystone had previously suspended shipments only for wallets that used the key.
