Aave Reopens V3 and V4 Markets, Keeps Nine Assets at Zero LTV
New deposits and borrowing are available again, while nine tokens remain ineligible as collateral for fresh loans.

Aave has restored activity across its V3 and V4 lending markets, allowing new deposits and borrowing again while keeping nine assets ineligible as collateral for new loans.
The group includes USDT, USDC, USDT0, POL, WAVAX, sAVAX, XAUT, PAXG and OP. Aave is keeping each asset’s loan-to-value (LTV) ratio at zero as a continuing safeguard. At zero, these assets cannot be used as collateral for new borrowing. Reopening the markets did not restore borrowing power against every listed token.
During the pause, Aave halted new deposits and borrowing. Users could still withdraw or repay, leaving existing positions accessible for routine account actions. Aave said its contracts were unaffected and all positions remained adequately collateralized.
The earlier market pause followed a Binance-related event. The update restores access across Aave’s markets while keeping the nine asset-specific collateral limits in place as a precaution.
