Binance says it has replaced about 80% of funds stolen in an attack and expects to reopen withdrawals by token over roughly 34 hours, giving users a phased path back to access.

The exchange has prepared more than $6.34 billion in company funds. More than $5 billion equivalent in token assets is already available, including USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and BNB. Binance says it is obtaining the rest through market and over-the-counter purchases.

About $3 billion in assets have been frozen onchain. Binance said it has found no evidence so far that wallet private keys were exposed.

Withdrawals are expected to resume in stages over about 34 hours. Binance plans a proof-of-reserves snapshot within 12 hours and expects to publish the results before Nov. 2. The exchange expects to release further technical-investigation findings in about 48 hours.

The plan pairs customer access restoration with reserve reporting and a continuing technical review of the theft.
