Threshold Network Pauses tBTC Minting and New Redemption Requests
New Bitcoin deposits through the network’s app are also halted. Pending redemptions may still be paid on Bitcoin, though final settlement on Ethereum is paused.

Threshold Network has temporarily halted new Bitcoin (BTC) deposits, tBTC minting and new redemption requests through its app as a precaution while it carries out security maintenance.
The suspension applies to requests initiated after the pause. Redemptions already in progress may still be paid on the Bitcoin network, but final settlement on Ethereum is paused, and some transactions may be delayed.
Threshold Network warned users not to send BTC to deposit addresses generated before the pause or use another interface to start new deposits, minting or redemption requests. Users who already deposited BTC should retain their deposit records and transaction hashes and avoid repeating the transaction.
The pause does not affect the ability to hold, transfer or use existing tBTC. It applies to new BTC deposits, tBTC minting and redemption requests while security maintenance is under way. Threshold Network will announce the restoration time separately; no specific restart time has been provided.
