Binance Says It Has Replenished About 90% of Assets Affected by the Incident
The figure is up from 80% disclosed previously. Binance completed a new reserves snapshot at 8 p.m. ET Friday and expects the full zero-knowledge proof Nov. 3 (UTC).

Binance said it had replenished about 90% of assets affected by its security incident as of Oct. 31, up from the 80% recovery it previously disclosed for the same incident.
The 10 assets Binance named as fully reserve-backed were Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), BNB, SOL, XRP, USDT, USDC, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC. The remaining roughly 10% consisted of other tokens outside that group. Binance said their relatively lower liquidity may make it take longer to buy the required amounts.
Binance said replenishment funds include part of SAFU, some money from a contract insurance fund and company funds. The SAFU portion is expected to be completed within 24 hours.
Binance completed a new proof-of-reserves snapshot Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. ET (00:00 UTC Saturday, Oct. 31). It expects to generate the full proof Nov. 3 (UTC), citing the computing resources required for zero-knowledge proofs. Withdrawals are still expected to resume Sunday, Nov. 1, as planned.
