Intersect Urges Cardano Operators to Patch Critical Linux Flaw
The vulnerability carries a CVSS score of 9.8. Ubuntu fixes remained in progress, while patched AlmaLinux kernels were available for testing.

Intersect urged Cardano stake pool operators to install a fixed Linux kernel to address a critical vulnerability rated 9.8 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), once their distribution releases a patch.
Patch status varied by distribution on Oct. 30. Ubuntu fixes remained in progress. AlmaLinux had patched kernels in its testing repository.
Intersect's instruction is to install the fixed kernel after a distribution makes it available. Operators' next step depends on their distribution releasing the patch.
