Binance Says It Has Covered $6 Billion of Hack-Related Losses
The exchange put replenishment at about 90% and listed 10 tokens with full reserve backing.

Binance says it has covered $6 billion of losses from a hack, adding a new recovery figure as the exchange continues replenishing assets affected by the breach.
The exchange's latest update puts the covered amount at $6 billion. Earlier progress disclosures measured replenishment as a share of affected assets, first at 80% and later at about 90%. The new dollar total adds a separate measure alongside the percentage tracking assets Binance says it has restored.
Binance also identified 10 tokens as fully backed by reserves: Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), BNB, Solana (SOL), USD Coin (USDC), XRP, USD1, RLUSD and Zcash (ZEC).
The update combines three measures: the reported dollar amount covered, the share of affected assets replenished and the reserve status of 10 named tokens. Binance's latest replenishment estimate remained about 90%, while those 10 tokens were listed as fully backed.
The disclosure follows the Oct. 30 hot-wallet hack at Binance.
