Binance has reopened Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawals after a security breach led the exchange to halt withdrawals, restoring an important service as it advances a phased recovery.

Bitcoin was the first network to reopen, with the priority tied to strong user demand for access to BTC. The exchange made the withdrawals available immediately. The restart covers Bitcoin withdrawals as Binance restores services in stages.

The breach had led Binance to suspend withdrawals. Reopening the service gives customers a way to transfer BTC from the exchange to self-custody or another platform. The recovery is intended to return operations to normal and rebuild user confidence.

Binance is one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges and supports trading in Bitcoin and other digital assets.
