Obol World launched a trading API on Sunday, Nov. 1, that lets external applications and automated agents launch, trade and discover coins on its platform. Obol World said 80% of revenue from Obol World’s token ($OBOL) and the wider protocol will fund open-market purchases and burns.

The other 20% is set aside for liquidity, infrastructure and growth. Obol World said it had bought back about 2.67 million $OBOL tokens by Oct. 31 and maintains a public buyback tracker.

Developers can obtain API keys at no cost. Users approve transactions through their own wallets, and Obol World says it does not hold their keys. Fees from coins launched through the service can go to holders, creators or perpetual futures positions on Hyperliquid.

The 80% plan covers token purchases and burns; it does not specify whether holders will receive separate cash distributions.

Obol World is a coin launchpad and trading platform. Obol Collective, a separate project focused on Ethereum distributed validators, uses the same $OBOL ticker for its own token.
