A wallet linked to the Pando Rings hack moved 4,000 Ether (ETH), worth about $9.22 million, through Tornado Cash. The move shifts a significant amount of ETH associated with the wallet through the service, four years after the original theft.

The wallet had acquired 7,548 ETH about three days before the transfer, spending 16.98 million DAI at an average price of $2,249 per coin. That purchase followed an attack on Binance that prompted a market decline. The 4,000 ETH transfer covers slightly more than half of that purchase.

The earlier purchase figure is denominated in DAI, while the later transfer's stated value is in dollars. The Pando Rings theft took place about four years ago and involved roughly $22 million in assets. The new transfer moves part of the recently acquired ETH through Tornado Cash, adding fresh activity linked to the older case.
