Sible Network Pauses Shared-Phone Mining Plan After Account Concerns
The proposal would have allowed up to three accounts on one device and was intended to help families who could afford only one smartphone.

Sible Network paused a proposal to let up to three accounts mine on one smartphone after users and ambassadors raised fairness and account-abuse concerns, reaffirming its one-person, one-account policy.
Sible announced the app update Sunday, Nov. 1, as a future feature but gave no release date. On Monday, Nov. 2, it said the proposal had been paused. The feature had not been announced as launched.
Sible described the shared-phone plan as a way for families who could not afford more than one smartphone to participate. The project also acknowledged concerns about fairness, bots and potential account misuse.
“One Person = One Account. No exceptions,” Sible said, reiterating that each person may have one account and that creating additional accounts for personal gain is prohibited.
Sible did not announce replacement safeguards, an identity-verification process or a timetable for a revised shared-device option.
