Stolen Solana tokens linked to the $6.3 billion Binance theft are being exchanged for Bitcoin through Relay, extending laundering activity onto Solana after temporary holding wallets on Tron were largely emptied.

The transfers involved 486,970 Solana (SOL), valued at about $46.4 million. The funds were among assets that escaped freezes imposed after Thursday’s theft. Gate froze two linked accounts, but did not disclose how much was frozen.

The FBI, U.S. Secret Service and IRS Criminal Investigation urged exchanges, THORChain node operators and decentralized finance (DeFi) services to block transactions involving identified wallet addresses or funds traced from them. The FBI attributed the theft to North Korea’s TraderTraitor hackers and published addresses tied to the stolen assets.

The FBI expects further laundering through DeFi and instant swap services.
