MazeBolt launched native RADAR testing for enterprises using Akamai DDoS protection Monday, Nov. 2, bringing continuous checks into customer environments as Layer 7 attacks rise.

Continuous validation can begin within hours. The checks run inside the customer environment and are designed not to affect service availability or service-level agreement (SLA) response times.

RADAR simulates known DDoS attacks, along with attacks orchestrated or generated by artificial intelligence. It provides remediation guidance tailored to the protection vendor. Native Layer 7 support is now available to all RADAR customers.

Layer 7 DDoS attacks rose 104% from 2023 to 2025. “Testing even a few times a year cannot keep pace with that,” said Matthew Andriani, MazeBolt’s CEO and founder.

Teams can rerun tests after applying a fix. RADAR validates existing DDoS defenses and does not replace mitigation.
