SomaXBT said Thorchain accounts made the transfers and that Arkham misidentified an address tied to the Thorchain Asgard Vault.

SomaXBT disputed Arkham’s claim that a Binance hacker sent roughly $4 million across three deposit addresses at Binance, saying Thorchain accounts made the transfers and challenging Arkham’s reading of the fund movements.

Arkham’s claim involved three addresses it identified as Binance deposit points. It suggested they might be controlled by independent trading platforms that use Binance for liquidity and custody.

SomaXBT said Arkham had wrongly tagged an address associated with the Thorchain Asgard Vault as connected to the hacker. It attributed the transfers to Thorchain accounts, not to the hacker. SomaXBT also published two related Thorchain account addresses.

Earlier coverage of the Binance hack detailed SomaXBT’s tracing of $140 million across four Tron routes. An Oct. 31 FBI request named THORChain node operators and funds farther along the transfer chain.
