The plugin is intended to help developers identify P0 issues across repositories before opening a pull request.

The company says the extension can check code across repositories against internal guidance and surface P0 issues before a pull request is opened.

The design brings organizational context into the review process so teams can apply their own standards to code across repositories. Qodo did not disclose how the plugin incorporates that context, which repositories it supports, or its pricing and usage figures.

The release fits Qodo’s broader focus on code verification, testing, review and governance. The company introduced Qodo 2.0 on Feb. 4, an update to its AI code review tools, and announced a $70 million funding raise on March 30.
