Message Signed “b14g Team” Offers 10% Reward for More Core Funds
The deadline is Nov. 6 at 6:59 p.m. ET. Core’s hard fork recovery had not yet reached affected users at the time of the recovery update.

A message signed “b14g Team” offered a 10% reward for the voluntary return of additional assets tied to the Oct. 31 exploit of the Core network, setting a Nov. 6 deadline for the recipient.
It offers the recipient 10% of any additional stolen Core (CORE) tokens returned voluntarily, with the remaining 90% directed to a designated recovery address. The deadline is Nov. 6, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. ET (11:59 p.m. UTC). The message also allows returns in Ether (ETH) or Tether (USDT) if the assets were converted.
Core’s Nov. 2 hard fork moved 68,146,177.22 CORE from three attacker-controlled addresses, about 70.2% of the 97,045,563 CORE affected in the incident. The one-time state adjustment did not reverse transactions, create tokens or change CORE’s total supply.
At the time of the recovery update, the recovered tokens had not been distributed to affected users, and no official claims process was open. The new message gives no revised figure for the amount still outstanding. It sets a deadline but does not confirm an additional return or a repayment plan.
