Arthur Hayes Says FLOP Devnet Opens for Verified AI Inference Tests

Developers can obtain test FLOP and inspect blocks, but the test units have no value or reward eligibility, and the network may reset.

Arthur Hayes said FLOP has opened its devnet to developers, allowing them to test verified AI inference services and inspect network blocks while no FLOP token exists.

Hayes announced the opening in a post on X. Developers can obtain test FLOP, inspect network blocks and use agents to call the verified inference services. The three functions listed are access to test FLOP, block viewing and service calls through agents; all are available through the devnet.

The test units have no value, do not provide rewards and carry no airdrop weight. The network may be reset, so activity on it may not persist. FLOP has not launched as a token, separating the devnet units from a live asset.

The devnet gives developers a place to try service calls and view network activity using test units under resettable conditions.
